Who doesn’t love granola bars? They are small so they are great to take with you anywhere. Women can keep a granola bar in their purse for when they want a munchy, kids can take them to school, they are good anytime and anywhere. Paleo granola bars are healthy, yummy, and portable.
But they can be hard to find at stores (or at least they are hard to find at any stores in my area!). Chances are you will not be able to find any kind of paleo granola at Wal-Mart or similar stores. There is a chance you could find paleo-diet friendly foods at Trader Joe’s, local farmers markets, and any other more organic food and health focused grocery stores. There aren’t any stores like this in my area, but you may have a better selection where you live. If you know any stores, then let me know and I’ll add them to this site.
If you can’t buy any paleo granola bars, you could always make them. I will try to include as many recipes as I can find on this website so you can make your own granola bars. If you have a recipe of your own you would like to share, just use the contact form and I will put it up and give you credit.
If you don’t want to make your own paleo granola bars and can’t find them at local stores, the only other option I can think of is to buy them online. There are several websites where you can find paleo foods.
If you have checked online before you may have come across the Steve’s Original website. You can find a lot of “PaleoKits,” a “PaleoKrunch” granola bar, and other goodies on that site. The prices are fair and a portion of the proceeds go toward helping children, so definitely check out that site if you get a chance.
If you are anything like me, then Amazon is the go-to place for buying anything online. I have personally not tried any of the paleo granola bars available on Amazon yet, so if you do then let me know what you think of them!
